The first part of Season 31 has gone, and here is a report on how the new 'financial performance' project is going so far. Key figures:
Total Race Income = 240,000
Net Income (before sales) = 127,403
Total Growth (before sales) = 3.2%
Net Income (after sales) = 207,152
Total Growth (after sales) = 5.1%
Most profitable riders: Julius Maaskant, Tapuwa Mathema, and Abel Jesus
Overall a good first half of the season. The team is on track towards reaching the goal of making a profit of 250k every season and is doing neither better nor worse than expected. In addition to the normal income, however, I made a lot of money on two of my three sales this season - Philbert Seaman and Christiaan Moens - which gives a great result overall.
Folkert Gerrits have replaced Philbert Seaman as our hilly sprinter and is now the team's most expensive rider - much is expected from him. Adrian Dudziak, another recently bought captain, is starting to live up to his promises and gave the team its only second victory so far.
The team has collected 2,160 points and 10 results, which is also a good figure. Hopefully the second part of season 31 will be just as good or even better.

That's plan, also a decent backup to have if Longosiwa gets injured during GT :)
Should I have your LOS as captain, I wouldn't leave sprints and therefore I would have never won Vuelta;-)
Haha yeah, that's a luxury lead out! If you intend to use him in Germany and Nederlandse with Longo, he might turn out to be worth it. ;)
Yeah not many great LO Sprinters on the market.. Also why I had to spend 320k on Roman Więckowski. Must be highest price ever paid for a LO Sprinter LOL :S
Then the deal was good for both of us, that's perfect. It has been difficult to find a replacement, though!
Moens doing a fine job here as LOS, so even though I paid a little too much for him, I'm pretty happy with the deal :)
